In-DepthCharacter Appearance:
Hadrian has a fine, close to the body coat of fur that only deviates into tufts at his elbows and groin. His hair both on his head and tail are mostly straight and jagged. His body type is very lean and toned, testament to a life of labor and a naturally high metabolism. His hands are rough with prominent bones and knuckles and long fingers, his ring finger slightly longer than his index finger. Most of his bones are prominent, including his wrists, hips, knees and hocks. His hooves are cloven and encased in horn as most even-toed ungulates, with two sharp toes above and behind. His horns are longer than his ears, lyre shaped and set at a forward angle (but feel free to draw them in any style). Freckles cover his cheeks along with one stray freckle on the thumb joint of his right hand.
Hadrian likes comfortable clothing and wears most often a black or white tight-fitting wifebeater under a button-down, long sleeved dress shirt with worn jeans and chaps. He also frequently wears a cowboy hat that fits between his horns.
Personality:
Hadrians personality heavily reflects on the Chinese Zodiac year of the Ox complimented with his astrological sign; Virgo. The following excerpt is taken from the Wikipedia.org article:
Ox (Zodiac)The Ox is the sign of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. This powerful sign is a born leader, being quite dependable and possessing an innate ability to achieve great things. As one might guess, such people are dependable, calm, and modest. Like their animal namesake, the Ox is unswervingly patient, tireless in their work, and capable of enduring any amount of hardship without complaint.
Ox people need peace and quiet to work through their ideas, and when they have set their mind on something it is hard for them to be convinced otherwise. An Ox person has a very logical mind and is extremely systematic in whatever they do, even without imagination. These people speak little but are extremely intelligent. When necessary, they are articulate and eloquent.
The Ox is not extravagant, and the thought of living off credit cards or being in debt makes them nervous. The possibility of taking a serious risk could cause the Ox sleepless nights.
Ox people are truthful and sincere, and the idea of wheeling and dealing in a competitive world is distasteful to them. They are rarely driven by the prospect of financial gain. These people are always welcome because of their honesty and patience. They have many friends, who appreciate the fact that the Ox people are wary of new trends, although every now and then they can be encouraged to try something new.
It is important to remember that the Ox people are sociable and relaxed when they feel secure, but occasionally a dark cloud looms over such people and they engage all the trials of the whole world and seek solutions for them.History: (This history reflects Hadrians default storyline)
Hadrian was born and raised on a ranch miles from town and situated on sprawling acres of rolling hills bordering a forest trail that cradles a lake. He had a happy childhood with a mother who had infinite patience and a father who included him in easy activities for the upkeep of the farm, teaching him early on the fruition of work. He spent his days climbing trees, swimming in the lake, catching small animals to observe and later release and bonding with the horses that populated the ranch.
Hadrian took up smoking cigarettes at the age of eighteen and when he hit nineteen his father handed over the land to him to retire and move south with his mother. From then on Hadrian ran the ranch almost entirely by himself, his close friends often giving a helping hand when needed. He breeds Gypsy Vanners, his prize stud and personal horse being
Diarmuid who grew up with him. He also boards horses of all sizes and makes for extra income.
Hadrian has developed a systematic routine of waking up at dawn, preparing and eating a large breakfast, letting the horses out in the paddocks, cleaning and doing paperwork in the afternoon before returning the horses to their stalls to be groomed and fed. In the evening he often rides for leisure or frequents the quaint pub in town where he socialises with friends hes known since he was young.
